Welcome to the Our Health, Our Care, Our Say Community of Interest. This web community is being provided as part of our ongoing scoping project into the aforementioned paper.

The scoping project is being co-ordinated by the North West's Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP). CSIP's partners in this project include the North West arms of ADSS, NHS, IDeA, Skills for Care and CfLG & NWIN.

These key agencies are working in partnership to agree proposals for leadership development that are designed to suit the next phase of delivering policy in social care and health. That is, to:
• deliver the requirement of 'Our Health Our Care our Say' in the context of the Local Government White Paper 'Stronger and Prosperous Communities'; and
• provide leadership that is based on delivering outcomes in partnership, through commissioning and service integration.

Our researchers and consultants at CfLG have been talking to key players, regionally and nationally, about their views of the future of leadership development in the social care and health sectors. The transcripts of these interviews can be found on this site (search tag "research interview" and they should be easily traceable).

Along with the interview transcripts, we have provided a number of useful and informative documents on the above subject, so please feel free to browse, read, print, learn and comment on the information that you have available here.

If you have anything that you feel would be of value to the project and wish to upload it into this community, please feel free to do so. If you are unsure how to do this, please use the help guides situated on the site, or contact Vicki Wagstaff at CfLG.

If you would like to have a cameo (video) of yourself and your thoughts on the subject, please let Vicki at CfLG know, as this can be arranged.
