This is the home page for the Oldham New Ways of Working space.

The purpose of this space is to provide a collaboration tool for the members of the New Ways of Working programme board within Oldham Council. Initially the main space will be reserved for members of the board only, though once we have enough content (and value) within the space we'll consider making it more open as a learning tool. However the blog (see link below) is open to anyone.

The principle uses for the space initially will be:

• Shared document store: agendas, minutes, reports, papers, etc.
• Conversations: members of the board will be encouraged to create blogs and reply to others' blog entries
• News: links to relevant items on the Internet, e.g. news articles, conferences, media items, case studies
• Learning: links to conferences, seminars, etc.
• Experimentation: we want to see for ourselves how we can exploit this kind of facility
