Each and every user can have their own personal space in TALK. If you want to have a personal blog, you need to have a personal space.
With your own space, you can not only write your own blog, but you can also create your own private wiki pages.
It's your space and you can create pages about whatever topic you want and you can invite other people to edit them or read them.
Creating your personal space
When you sign up for TALK you are not automatically given a personal space - you need to create it for yourself.
To do this, click on the Create Personal Space link on your profile page. If you already have a personal space, this link will say Personal Space.
You'll be greeted by this screen:

You should ensure that the following options are selected:
- Registered users - anyone logged into Confluence - This will ensure that other registered TALK Users can see your blog! They won't be able to edit it though.
- Anonymous - anyone, logged in or not - If you select this, anyone visiting TALK will be able to see your blog and pages. This is a good thing though and encourages openness and sharing of information.
- Select Adaptavist Theme Builder as the theme for your space. This will ensure that your space looks the same as everyone elses and that you have all the functionality available to you.
Administering your space
There are a few things that you need to be aware of about your personal space. Have a look at the Space Administration pages for details about this.
Changing the Permissions
Take a look at the space permissions page to read how you can set additional access rights for your space.
