Please read these terms and conditions carefully, they are the terms of use for this site as provided by TALK. Use of this site constitutes as your acknowledgement of these terms and conditions.
TALK and the Service Provider reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The TALK website is provided for the sharing of knowledge in relation to Transformational Government and related products. We want to encourage contributions and ask that you help us by adhering to the following terms and conditions.
Any contributions that do not comply with these terms and conditions may be removed without warning at the discretion of the site/space administrators.
All visitors are welcome to view the public content on the site however only registered users are able to contribute. As the purpose of the website is to share knowledge from real life experiences registration is restricted to users with .gov, .ac and .nhs email domains.
Copyright and Responsibility
By submitting content to the TALK website (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree, to grant ownership of this content to TALK.
None of the content on this website may be sold, redistributed or copied in any way without the written consent of users.
Users are prohibited from allowing any other individual, use of their registered username and password.
Any content contributed is at the users own risk, and any contribution is a privilege and not a right to each user.
Access to contribute can be suspended at any time without notice at the discretion of the space/forum/site administrators.
Forbidden Activities
The following activities are forbidden and any content in breach of these will be removed from the TALK website.
- Spamming or off-topic material; submission of the same or very similar contributions many times is not allowed. Do not re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.
- Use of TALK for your commercial gain, or to sell or trade in any of the content or other material copied or downloaded from TALK or attempt to generate private business from other Users.
- Submission of Content which:
- could be considered likely to disrupt, provoke, attack or offend others
- which is racist, sexist, homophobic, sexually explicit, abusive or otherwise objectionable
- which contains swear words or other language likely to offend
- Contributing content which breaks the law or condones or encourages unlawful activity. This includes breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court.

Personal information that we collect:
Your "Record" constitutes the information we collect via the "Registration" page which consists of your name and email address.
You may through choice also submit personal information contained in any content you upload to TALK (including posting messages on a Discussion Forum).
We use session cookies to store information about your current TALK session. These cookies are deleted when you leave TALK and close your browser. If you so choose, we will also use a cookie to collect and store your login details. We may also use cookies to collect statistical information about your use of TALK. How we use your personal information
Your personal information is used by us so that we can administer and support TALK and your registration as a Registered User or Space Administrator and to provide you with access to the appropriate areas and functions of TALK (including to particular content) depending on your status as a User. For example:
- Unregistered users are given access to view all public content, unregistered users are unable to contribute any content;
- Registered users can contribute to forums and permission to contribute to certain spaces is allocated by the space administrator.
In addition we may use your personal information to contact you from time to time, in order to ask for your views on TALK and/or any of the content and to notify you occasionally about important changes or developments to TALK.
Personal information we provide to Third Parties.
We reserve the right to give your personal information to a third party without your consent where:
- The disclosure is required by law, such as where there is a court order, or statutory obligation requiring us to make such a disclosure; and/or
- We believe that such disclosure is necessary in order to assist in the prevention or detection of any criminal action (including fraud) or is otherwise in the overriding public interest, and is permitted by law.
