This is the home page for the Leeds City Card project space.

This area is for public viewing.

Welcome to the City Card project space, the team will post regular updates as the project progresses so you can keep up with how things are going and leave questions, comments and feedback for us.

City Card mission: City Card will exist to provide residents and visitors easy and personalised access to the best the city has to offer.

Leeds City Council has run and administered various membership card schemes that provide benefits for their members for many years now e.g. Library Card, LeedsCard, Bodyline, Breeze card; these schemes have proved very popular with their members.

As technology advances, the City Card project team have joined together to research how SMART technology can be used to improve what we offer to our members and citizens, and add value to all the people of Leeds.

The project is at the early stages but we've already come up with some exciting ideas, so watch this space for regular updates.

Regards, City Card project team

Leeds is the subject of very ambitious and enterprising innovations. And its been on this journey for several years as its innovative presence on the web has shown. I think one of my trips up the M62 will allow me to sniff the wind of change, deal me in next time I am there.
