About me...

I currently work with Manchester Business School. I'm a social media/computing/networking guy, so I spend my time thinking about how blogs, wikis and podcasts can be used in organisations. That's what we're doing with TALK.

When I'm not working I'm listening to music or travelling here and there. To me there's nothing better than the freedom that travel affords you and I've had some of the best experiences of my life whilst being out and about.

Someday I'll get the chance to do another extended trip. I find you need a good 3 months and no agenda to really let those shoulders relax.

Career Biography

1972 - Born (that makes me thirty-x!)
1994 - Graduated with honours, joined Halifax as IT Analyst
1997 - Helped design Halifax Direct call centre infrastructure
1998 - Moved to Houston, Texas with AIM Management Group
1998 - 2002 - IT Manager at AIM
2003 - Relocated back to UK. Joined full-time MBA programme at Manchester Business School
2005 - Graduated with Distinction from MBS, became independent consultant type of chap.

What you don't know about me!

I'm a kite-flyer. I read a lot and I'm a Radiohead nut.
I spent 5 years living in Houston, Texas.
If I had my time again, I'd be a rock star.

Proudest Achievement?

Conquering my fear of heights in climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge!
