Shall we talk?

I'm happy to be part of 'talknet' because there is a lot to talk about. Our lives are about to change fairly rapidly especially with the global challenges facing us and new trends emerging. It is important for local and central government, organisations and institutions keep up with the pace of change. We need to face them in creative and innovative ways harnessing new trends and knowledge without abandoning traditional ones that still work.

As a chartered marketeer I've had some pretty good and rewarding times working in the private, government and higher education sectors.

I'm a mother of three 'grown ups' from whom I learn a lot and who help me overcome my movie and music naivety. We try to be an environmentally friendly household and have geothermal heating, photovoltaic panels and our recent addition is a sedum roof.  My partner and I are busy planning our new garden and vegetable patch not to mention pondering over where to house the hens .

Preferences: sparkling water over still with ice and lemon, fish rather than meat, salad to heavy meals, flowers to weeds. Oh! mustn't forget...definitely good quality dark chocolate to milk. I use an electric toothbrush every day just as my dental hygienist tells me. So that's me in a nutshell.

Thanks for reading and I hope you will be tempted to add your ideas and thoughts to my blog over the coming months.

And yes, definitely good quality dark chocolate to milk!
